Khronos by Chris Paton

Under the shadow of war in the besieged city of Arkhangelsk in the Russian north, Hanover and Singh stow away onboard The Flying Scotsman airship, uncovering the secrets of the khronoglyphs with help from a mysterious and powerful demon.
Khronos is a Steampunk Adventure set in Europe in the 1850s, full of airships, steam-powered fighting machines, chaos, rubble and dust.
Khronos continues the adventures of Hanover and Singh, linking each of the previous books: Metal Emissary (book 1) and Slow Demons (book 2), while setting the scene for the closing adventure in book 4 (available 2016).
From Goodreads.

This is an exciting continuation of the first two books in the series. We are seeing a character from the first book but we also meet some new Russian characters and especially Lena, the Cossack, is an interesting character. A lot of things are happening and I am looking forward to see how it all ends in the last book.

This book qualifies for:
Goodreads Reading Challenge 2015
The Challenge Factory: Scavenger Hunt Part XV
Rawk-A-Tiers: Words With ... Myself!
